Add Droppy to your stream
No coding or extra plugin needed. Your private widget link works as a browser source in OBS Studio, Streamlabs Desktop and compatible streaming apps.
Enable your widget
In Droppy: Dashboard → Streamer widget. Choose your campaign, enable the widget and save. Public supporter messages are optional.
Choose what viewers see
QR + alerts: a permanent QR card with temporary alerts. QR / link: only the permanent card. Alerts: invisible until a new support initiation or test arrives. Copy the widget URL after choosing the mode.
Add a browser source
OBS Studio: Sources → + → Browser. Streamlabs Desktop: Sources → + → Browser Source → Add Source. Name it Droppy and paste your private widget URL into the URL field. Use a URL, not a local file.
Set the size and position
Start with width 640 and height 360 pixels, then confirm. The background is transparent. Move the source above your game or camera in the source list, then drag it into place in the preview. Increase the height if long text is cut off.
Send a test alert
Keep the browser source loaded. In Droppy, select “Send test alert”. Allow a few seconds: a TEST alert appears, then disappears. Real alerts show support initiation, not verified payment receipt.
Want the QR in a corner and alerts elsewhere? Add two browser sources: copy the URL once in QR / link mode, then again in Alerts mode.
Nothing appears?
Alerts mode is normally blank. Check that the widget is enabled and saved, the campaign is publicly available, the source is visible and above your other sources, and the URL is current. Open the widget preview before sending another test. Old events are not replayed after loading or refreshing the source.
Keep the widget URL private
Share your public campaign link with viewers, not the widget URL. If the widget URL is exposed, use “Replace private URL” in Droppy and update the URL in each browser source.
